I have been trying some new things. I have been watching not only my calories, but fat intake. So far so good! I did take a day off yesterday, though, and it was a BAD BAD BAD idea! My parents and I went out to dinner for Mexican, and Mom and I got fajitas. By the time I got home my stomach was turning. Not good. A good 15 minutes later, I was a goner. I am just now recovering and it's almost been a whole day!
The exercise program is great... I haven't been in as often as I have hoped, I have been picking up hours at work and with my Grandma, so it's not like I've been Miss Lazy Bones (though I do have my times, believe me... True Blood has literally sucked the blood out of me when it comes in the mail from Netflix, LOL) I have been working with Brenda twice a week for an hour each session, then I come in at least once or twice other than that. I also got those balance ball technology running shoes from Reebok... AMAZING! I jogged for like 2 minutes and my legs were burning! It definitely enhances your workout, even though they are somewhat on the expensive side.
We have been trying new recipes as a family. We are in the process of buying Jillian Michaels' cookbook, but until then Mom has found some recipes and I am currently (literally, as I'm typing) making Jillian Michael's healthy brownies from scratch! Can't wait to try them! She previewed them on her show last week, and I got the recipe online. If they're any good I'll let you know! :) Promise!
Well... that's all for today. My brownies should be done soon, here! I will also give an update on my job situation. So far nothing, but I'm still staying confident in at least having an interview in the next few weeks, if not getting a job! :) Later on!
